Rising Stars defeats KKCA Women; Sheena scores splendid 62 runs

JAMMU, Mar 27: Sheena Saraf scored a superb 62 and made a huge partnership of 139 runs along with Katyayani in Rising Stars big win over KKCA Women in an exhibition cricket match which witnessed participation of a few WPL and Junior India players, at Skippers Cricket Ground, Greater Noida, here today.
Earlier, put into bat, Rising Star Club scored a huge total of 294 runs in the allotted 40 overs. Katyayani scored magnificent unbeaten 170 runs, studded with 20 fours and 8 sixes, while Sheena Saraf, who represents Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) at the national scene, contributed valuable 62 runs off 71 balls with 6 delectable boundaries.
For KKCA Women, Radhika Pachahara took 2 wickets by giving away 37 runs in her 8 overs. In reply, KKCA Women managed to score 211 runs in the stipulated 20 overs to lose the match by a big margin.
Arushi Godiyal top scored with 53 runs off 64 balls studded with 9 boundaries, while Mansi Panwar and Niti Chaudhary contributed 43 and 35 runs respectively.
Vanshika Chaudhary bagged 2 wickets by conceding 18 runs in her 4 overs, while Under-19 India player and WPL star; Parshavi Chopra claimed one wicket by giving away 30 runs in her 8 overs.
