Rising Star drubs KCSC by 10 wkts

JAMMU, Jan 11: Rising Star Udhampur defeated KC Sports Club by 10 wickets in the New Year Under-14 Cricket Cup, being organized by Kishan Chand Cricket Club (KCCC), under the supervision of coach Sunil Kumar at Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy ground, here.
Earlier, batting first, KCSC scored a paltry total of 89 runs in 35.1 overs. Kartik top scored with 22 runs, while Ayush and Aprajit contributed 12 runs each. For Rising Star, Udhay Pratap Singh took 4 wickets, while Ranbir and Satvik claimed 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
In reply, Rising Stars Udhampur chased the target easily in 18 overs, without losing any wicket to win the match by 10 wickets. Kapil Kumar was the top scorer with 36 runs, while Udhay Pratap Singh contributed 28 runs.
Eight team are participating in this tournament, with four teams in each pool.
