JAMMU, Dec 6: Annual Sports Week organised by Rich Harvest School at Army football ground commenced today.
The sports week was inaugurated by Ruchi Charak, Trustee in presence of Dr Shivani Singh, Principal, Iqbal Singh and Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Management Committee Member DET, faculty members and students.
Dr Shivani Singh presented the welcome address and quoted that “Games and sports has always been an essential element and it is the vision of the school to develop the children accordingly to their potential. Sports help in developing the skills like special intelligence, logistic intelligence and inter structure potentialities, Dr Singh added.
On the occasion, an inter house match was played in the discipline of football (boys) between Esteem and Courtesy houses, in which Esteem House emerged winner by 5 goals.
