JAMMU, Mar 2: Rich Harvest School, Bari Brahmana, celebrated annual day and prize distribution function with great pomp and show.
On the occasion, Abdul Majid Wani, Minister for R&B (PWD) was the chief guest, while Gulchain Singh Charak, former Minister, presently Member CWC All India Congress Committee, Incharge Punjab, Chandigarh and Bihar, presided over. Ashok Khajuria, AC Samba, Ravi Dubey, CEO Samba and Samar Dev Singh Charak, secretary Dogra Educational Trust were the guests of honours.
Students presented a bonanza of cultural items with enthusiasm and enthralled the audience with their performances.
Abdul Majid Wani appreciated the efforts of the management and staff of the schools being for the all-round development of the students. He also visited the multi storied building of the school in the premises of Dogra Educational Complex alongwith other dignitaries.
Gulchain Singh Charak, in his speech lauded the efforts of the students and the staff of the school in putting up a fine and memorable function.
Ravi Dubey, extended his full support to the management in their endeavors.
Earlier, Uma Katal, Manager, Rich Harvest school presented the welcome address and Ruchi Charak, Administrator of the School presented the annual report.
Later prizes among the outstanding students were distributed by chief guest on the occasion.
Anustha, Nitya Nipun, Palak and Simranjeet all students of 4th and 5th classes conducted the proceedings of the function.
Among others present were Gambhir Dev Singh, Bela Academic Coordinator, Dogra College of Education, Principals, heads of various educational institutions, Sarpanchs and citizens.
Asha Qazi Dhar Principal presented the vote of thanks. The function came to an end amid the serene tones of national anthem.
Prominent amongst those who attended the function included Surekha Charak Secretary Managing Committee DHSS and Bela, Academic Coordinator, Dogra College of Education.
