JAMMU, July 21: President, Ram Imagine Art and Sainik Farms (RIASF), Ram Kumar presented ‘Jammu Fashion Night in Association with Nirman Advertisers at Sainik Farms, Sainik colony, here.
Outfits were designed by National Institute of Fashion Designing. The event was to promote the Culture of Jammu and Kashmir as well as to promote singing, dancing and modelling talent to provide exposure to youngsters in field of entertainment.
Raman Bhalla, Minister for Housing, Horticulture, Culture and Youth Services and Sports was the chief guest on the occasion, while Kiran Wattal, Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, J P Singh and Kamal Mehndru, Additional Commissioner Provident Fund were the guests of honour.
The Judges were Chandni Malhotra, Parveen Baldotra and Shashi Thakur.
Ram Kumar, president of Ram Imagine Art; Thakur Jai Singh, Chairman Sainik Farms; Vinita Thakur, Chairperson NIFD and Neeraj Gupta, Director NIFD spoke on the occasion.
The programme was organized with an aim to channelize the energy of youth in strife torn State of Jammu and Kashmir.
Through this competition, the organizers are trying to promote Dogri and Kashmiri Cultural of the State.
Mahi Sharma bagged first prize in senior category, while Bhubneshwar Singh emerged winner in junior category.
