JAMMU, Dec 24: Chief Secretary Mohammad Iqbal Khandey, today chaired the Executive Committee meeting of Kashmir Golf Club, Srinagar here, to review the status of various Golf Course improvement measures that have been taken up there.
The Chief Secretary said that with several positive and forward looking initiatives being carried out, it should be possible to restore and improve not only the course area but also infrastructural facilities of the club over a period of time to a world class standard.
He sought cooperation of the members, and other associate departments including Tourism and Sports Council in the revival and overall functioning of the club.
Secretary Tourism Zaffar Ahmad and other officers, members were present in the meeting.
