REASI, Oct 6: Gandhi Global Family J&K in association with United Nations (UNIC) New Delhi organises match for special children in District Reasi as a part of Gandhi Mandela Cricket Series 2015.
The match was held at Mini Stadium in presence of Bhawani Singh Rakhwal, Additional District Development Commissioner, Padmashri S P Varma GGF Vice President and Shri Tariq Bhat GGF Advisor.
The match was played between Reasi XI and Reasi Royal XI. The event was presided by Shri Tariq Bhat who introduced both teams to Chief Guest Mr B K Rakhwal. Later Reasi Royal won the match by four wickets and Ankit Sharma was declared Boy of the match for his outstanding performance. Earlier Mr Bhawani Singh Rakhwal , ADDC Reasi said that the prime purpose of this tournament is to encourage these special kids and to find out talent among them. Later Padmashri Varma presented UN medals to both the teams in the presence of Mr Nadeem Bhat, Adv Vijay Kumar Sharma, Lec Anil Sharma, Adv Madam Mohan Sharma and Adv Rajinder.
