REASI, Nov 17: Jammu & Kashmir Sports Festival which was organized by District Police Reasi concluded at General Zorawar Singh Sports Stadium, here today
Minister of State, Ajay Nanda was the chief guest on the occasion, while other Police / Civil Officers who attended the function included Virender Sharma, DIG UR Range, Parsanna Ramaswami, Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Arvind Bhatia GOC U Force Reasi and Tahir Sajad Bhat, SSP Reasi.
During the Sports festival various outdoor games were organized in a cordial manner and the players took keen interest by taking part in these games. The Final matches of outdoor events played today were highly competitive and thrilling in nature.
The prizes including medals and certificates Trophies were distributed among the winners by the Chief Guest, DIG Udhampur Range and SSP Reasi. Whereas, Medals and certificates were distributed among 1st, 2nd and 3rd Position holders in individual events, trophies were given to team members and Mementoes to the match referees / officials.
Chief Guest, while speaking on the occasion lauded the role of District Police Reasi for organizing such kind of Sports Festivals for the students/youths in District Reasi.
DIG UR Range also spoke on the occasion.
