REASI, Dec 16: The final phase of Pir Panjal Knights Premier League (PPKPL), a mega sporting event has started at Zorawar Singh Stadium, here from December, 12, 2014.
The second semifinal of kho-kho tournament was played between the team Reasi Nightingales and Akhnoor Arrows which was won by Reasi Nightingales by scoring 11 points. Koefeeka Kafi was adjudged the best player of the day for her performances.
In cricket, Reasi Royals achieved victory over Youth Cricket Club and won the match by 3 wickets. Shivam Gupta of Reasi Royals smashed quick-fire 53 runs to set a fighting total of 139 runs in the allotted 20 overs.
The team from Youth Cricket Club played very well but could score only 138 runs by losing 5 wickets. Shivam Gupta was adjudged as man of the match.
The Pir Panjal Knights Premier League is providing great entertainment to spectators and at the same time boosting the morale of the players.
