REASI, May 26: The two-day Reasi District Judo Championship 2025 concluded at Amba Kids Home School, Penthal, Katra, with nearly 120 judokas from across the district participating. The event was organized by the Reasi District Judo Association under the banner of the Judo Association of Jammu & Kashmir (JAKO), J&K Sports Council.
Ashwani Katoch, Chairman of Amba Kids, was the chief guest and distributed medals and certificates to winners. Guests of honour included Suraj Sharma, General Secretary JAOJK and Danish Sharma, NIS-qualified coach from SMVDU. The bouts were officiated by Danish Sharma, Manish Chatwal and Sonakshi Devi.
Gold medallists were Anmol Katoch, Alina, Sojal Bhagat, Niharika, Ruksana Bibi, Fiza Akhter, Meenakshi Bhagat, Sonakshi Devi, Fawaz Ahmed, Mohd Waseem, Shahid Jamal, Naved Mohd, Bhavik Mahajan, Muddasir Hussain, Surbhi, Arshia Monika Thakur, Shabir, Sumit Thakur, Aman Sharma, Zabir Ahmed and Aftaf.
Silver medal winners included Manvi Salotra, Mannat, Iritiqa Manvi, Maryam Bano, Ayaal Bhat, Manvi Bhagat, Aariya Malik, Sonali Bhagat, Mohd Imran, Basharat Bashir, Farhaan Irfan Bhat, Alker Shit, Muzaffar, Manav, Wajid Hussain, Harshdeep Salaria, Ahil Choudhary, Mudassir Ahmed, Freed Chouhdhary and Aarya Bhagat.
Bronze medals were awarded to Arushi, Rafia Kousar, Pari Nidhi, Ulfat Jaan, Saina Jaan, Nitika Devi, Akshi Thakur, Momina Narrat, Mehreen Ashraf, Dhruvit Sharma, Mohd Waseem, Danish Ahmed, Pankaj Singh, Zairaf Ali, Tanveer Ahmed, Izaam Rasool, Asif Iqbal, Mohd Tufail, Vihan, Mohd Tareek, Ayush, Aarthal, BP Singh, Ajit, Shubham, Shakeel and Adil.
