RCC crushes KCC by 12 runs, sails into semi final

JAMMU, July 21: Rainawari Cricket Club (RCC) today entered into semi final of Jammu Tawi Summer T-20 Premier League by defeating its rival Khalsa Cricket Club (KCC) in the quarter final match played today.
Batting first, RCC scored a decent total of 122 runs in stipulated 20 overs by losing 8 wickets. Puneet fired heavily with the bat and scored 52 runs for his team while Rahul also contributed 22 runs to the total. For KCC, Vishal and Gagandeep bowled brilliantly and scalped 3 wickets each while Aman and Harpreet also picked up one wicket each.
In reply, KCC failed to chase the target and manage to score only 110 runs in stipulated 20 overs by losing 9 wickets and thus lost the match by 12 runs. Sukhwinder made highest 30 runs for the team while Harpreet scored 26 and Vishal made 10 runs. For RCC, Dilbagh was the wrecker in chief, who scalped 3 wickets. Vijay and Sourav took 2 wickets each while Rahul and Prafful also pocketed one wicket each. Puneet was declared as Man of the Match for his impressive performance with the bat.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain Malik and Vinod Kandayara as umpires while Sandeep Manchanda acted as scorer.
