JAMMU, Mar 8: Rakesh Singh of GDC Hiranagar won gold medal in triple jump (men) on day-2 of the ongoing 43rd Annual Athletic Meet being organized by Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, here.
Pardeep Sharma of GDC Samba and Anil Kumar of GGM Science College clinched silver and bronze medal in triple jump respectively.
The gold medal in triple jump (women) went to Richa Mandla of GCW Parade, while Repu Devi of GDC Samba and Palvy Baral ofg GCW Gandhi Nagar claimed silver and bronze medals respectively.
Amit Kumar of SRML College of Commerce, Sanjeev Sharma of PG Department, Manju Sharma of GCW Gandhi Nagar, Shabaz Khan of GDC Bishnah, Pooja Devi of GDC Billawar, Abhishek Sharma of PG Department bagged gold medals in 400 mtrs (men), discus throw (men), 1500 mtrs (men), 1500 mtrs (women) and hammer throw (men) respectively.
