JAMMU, Nov 23: All-rounder Raj Kumar Bakshi took 4 important wickets to help Jammu University’s Employees Team beat Mumbai University convincingly and register a third consecutive big win in the ongoing All India Vice Chancellors T20 Cup Cricket Tournament at Gorakhpur University ground, today.
According to the reports reaching here, Jammu University scored a fighting total of 129 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Ameet Targotra was the top scorer with 32 runs, while Niranjan Singh contributed 24 runs. Sumit Sharma also played a valuable knock of 23 runs, while skipper Daud Iqbal chipped in with 12 runs.
In reply, Mumbai University bundled out for a paltry total of 61 runs to lose the match by a big margin of 68 runs. Sushant Kumar scored 15 runs, while Attaullal contributed 11 runs to the total. For Jammu University, Raj Kumar Bakshi was the pick of the bowlers, who took 4 important wickets by conceding 11 runs in his 4 overs, while Pawan and Daud Iqbal claimed one wicket each. Raj Kumar was adjudged man of the match for his brilliant bowling display.
