JAMMU, Jan 23: Eco-club of Government Degree College Ramgarh organised an online quiz competition on the topic ‘e-waste Management’ to aware students about electronic waste (e-waste) issue and its management, today.
A total of 85 students and scholars participated in the competition wherein 69 students secured more than 60 percent marks. All the meritorious students were awarded with e-certificates after the event. Students and scholars from various institutions including University of Jammu, Central University of Jammu, Govt MAM College, GCW Gandhi Nagar, GGM Science College, GDC Doda, GDC Vijaypur, GDC Ghagwal, GDC Samba and GDC Ramgarh participated in this quiz.
Neha Kangla of GCW Gandhi Nagar, Lalit Bhagat of GDC Ramgarh, Shivani Bhagat of GDC Ramgarh,Vinod Kangla of GDC Vijaypur, Amanpreet Kour of GDC Ramgarh and Manisha Sharma of GDC Ramgarh scored 100 percent marks in the competition.
The quiz was organised by Minali Deep Lecturer EVS and coordinated by Dr Shamsher Lal, Convenor of Eco-club of GDC Ramgarh under the guidance of Prof (Dr) Meeru Abrol, Principal GDC Ramgarh.
