KISHTWAR, Jan 16: District Information Centre today organized a quiz competition at Government Boys Higher Secondary school in collaboration with DIET Kishtwar.
A total number of 10 teams comprising of three students each of different educational institutions participated in the event.
Principal DIET Kwaja Tariq was the chief guest whereas CDPO Dachhan Dr Atul Dutt Sharma and CDPO Padder Arun Badyal, HOD English DIET Kamal Sharma were guests of honour.
All the teams were allotted house names and a total number of seven rounds with questions from mathematics and general science were held.
Mehboob Qazi acted as quiz master.
First prize was won by the team comprising of Makdoom Ali, Sahil Sajjad and Unsub Bin Farooqi, second prize went to the team comprising of Kirti Sharma, Anu Parihar and Priyanka Thakur whereas the third prize was won by the team comprising of Agesha Binti, Usman Wani and Mohammad Arif.
All the winners were given trophies and cash prizes.
