JAMMU, Dec 21: Quarterfinals lineup has been drawn as Jammu and Kashmir boys and girls teams failed to make it to the last eight stage in the 59th National School Games Volleyball Under-14 Boys and Girls Tournament, being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, under the auspices of School Games Federation of India (SGFI) at MA Stadium, here today.
The tournament is being conducted under the chairmanship of Director General Youth Services and Sports J&K Navin Aggarwal and under the overall supervision of Ved Prakash, Deputy Director YSS Jammu, who is the organizing Secretary of the event.
The teams which have entered the quarterfinals in boys section included Vidya Bharti, Delhi, Manipur and West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Uttrakhand and Karnataka, while in the girls section, the teams which have qualified for the quarterfinals included Rajasthan, Maharashtra,  UP, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Vidya Bharti, Haryana and West Bengal.
Earlier, J&K boys defeated formidable Gujarat by (25-16, 25-17) in the league match, but lost to strong Manipur in the pre-quarterfinals stage by (23-25, 25-19, 22-25, 25-19, 15-3 ) to be out of contention in the Tournament.

League Stage
Punjab beat MP by 2-0. The set Scores were 25-22,25-17 Tamilnadu got walkover against CBSE Haryana beat Rajasthan by 2-0. The set scores were 25-12, 25-21 Delhi beat Chandigarh by 2-0. The set scores were 25-11, 25-15 West Bengal beat IPSC by 2-1. The set scores were 25-20,22-25,26-24 Manipur beat HP by 2-0. The set scores were 25-14,25-13.
Pre-Quaterfinals
Vidya Bharti beat Haryana by 3-1. The set scores were 25-23,14-25,25-13, 25-20, Delhi beat Tamilnadu by 3-0. The set scores were 25-19,25-19,25-16, West Bengal beat Punjab by 3-1. The set scores were 25-19,24-26,25-18, 33-31.
Girls Section
Rajasthan beat Tamilnadu by 2-0. The set scores were 25-19, 25-13, Uttar Pradesh beat Uttrakhand by 2-0. The set scores were 25-11,25-11, Delhi beat Vidhya Bharati by 2-0. The set scores were 25-18, 25-19, West Bengal beat IPSC by 2-0. The set scores were 25-09,25-13, Chattisgarh beat Gujarat by 2-0. The set scores were 25-13,25-04 Jharkhand beat Madhya Pradesh by 2-0. The set scores were 25-22,25-18, Karnataka beat Andhra Pradesh by 2-1. The set Scores were 14-25,25-11, 15-11.
