Punjab wrestler lifts Salora Kesari Dangal title

JAMMU, Apr 18:  Wrestler, Niki of Jallandhar lifted 37th Salora Kesari  Dangal  title by defeating Sukha in the main bout of the Dangal which was organised by Salora Dangal Committee in association with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association at Salora, here today.
BDC Chairman Rehmat Ali was the chief guest, while president of J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association, Shiv Kumar Sharma presided over the function and SHO Devinder Singh, Sub Inspector Satar Choudhary, Sarpanch Bansi Lal, Naresh Kumar and Madan Lal were present during the event.
In the 2nd bout, wrestler Ravi defeated Nisar of J&K Police and both of them were awarded with cash prizes of Rs 40,000 and Rs 31000 respectively. Another 2nd bout between Pamma and Irshad Ahmed ended in draw and the cash prize of Rs 71000 was distributed among both the wrestlers and in the 3rd bout, Shipa Lung trounced Shamsher and were awarded with cash prizes of Rs 40000 and Rs 31000 respectively.
In other bouts, Ranjeet beat Love, Ajay Sharma defeated Harman, Saif Malook beat Raj Singh, Gurmail defeated Maan Hussain, Muneer got better of Arvinder, Bablu defeated Manjoor, Liaqat Ali trounced Neeraj, Roshan Lal beat Rishi Paul, Raju defeated Babba and Rajesh beat Maana.
