JAMMU, Feb 28: Dr Vibhakar Mansotra, Prof and Head, Department of Computer Science & Information Technology, University of Jammu has been conferred by the LOKMAT National Education Leadership Awards as Best Professor in Information Technology Management. The awards are well researched and chosen by an independent jury and a panel of professionals who believe in nurturing talent and in recognizing the best of the best.
The award was presented to him in an impressive function held recently at Hotel Taj Lands End, Mumbai. Lokmat is one of the oldest and largest selling daily Marathi and Hindi language newspaper and the fifth largest Indian daily. It has tie-ups with Journalism Colleges like Horniman College of Journalism and Mass Communication run by the Maulana Azad Education Trust Aurangabad (MAET).
Prof Mansotra has been given this award in recognition of his services in teaching, leadership, development and marketing of the institute and industry interface.
