Prinkle wins All India Talent Series title

JAMMU, Apr 14: Ace tennis player of Jammu and Kashmir, Prinkle Singh brought laurels to the State by winning All India Talent Series Under-18 Girls title at Tennis Excellence Academy, Sunny Enclave, Mohali in Punjab.
In the final, Prinkle Singh outclassed Bhabaya Wadhan of Chandigarh by (6-1, 4-6, 6-1), while in the semifinals, Prinkle defeated Pannu of Punjab by (6-4, 6-2).
Earlier, in the quarterfinals, Prinkle got better of Khushbeen of Chandigarh by (4-0, 4-0), while in the pre-quarterfinals, she prevailed over Paro of Panchkula by (4-0, 4-1).
Prinkle had a bye in the first round, while other J&K player Sumitpal Singh reached the semifinals in the boys Under-18 category.
