SRINAGAR, May 24: The Principal of Army Public School, Sandeep Marhatta has been awarded the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Commendation Card-2015 for his work in the field of education.
This honour for the Principal has come for the first time in the history of APS Srinagar. Mr. Marhatta is the first Principal to receive this honour in the history of Northern Command Army Public Schools.
For the past five years, his contribution in giving quality education for defence personnel and local people is commendable.
Sandeep Marhatta’s services in the field of education has been appreciated and felicitated on AWES.
The GOC 31 Sub Area, Maj Gen AK Das, SC, Patron of the school awarded him this honour in a simple function.
Mr Marhatta gave credit to the AWES and teaching faculty of APS Srinagar for their contribution in this regard.
Brig Vinay Bahl, Chairman of the school congratulated Mr. Sandeep and expressed the hope that the school will further accelerate the process of growth, performance and human resource development.
