Prof. Shakil A Romshoo, Head Department of Earth Sciences, Kashmir University has been awarded the prestigious National Geoscience Award 2013 in recognition of his outstanding achievement in the field of Remote Sensing and Geoinformation System for Earth and Environmental Sciences.
Alumni of the University of Tokyo, Japan and Asian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bangkok, Prof. Romshoo has worked in various national and international organizations before joining Kashmir University in 2004.
