JAMMU, July 13: Six wickets haul by talented cricketer Praful Dhar helped Oriental Cricket Club (OCC) to smash Sharda Cricket Club (SCC) by a huge margin of 86 runs and register berth in the next round of the ongoing 1st Pink Ball Cricket Tournament for KPs, being organized by Krish Sports and Events at KC College ground, here today.
Batting first, OCC made 144 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Vimarsh played a splendid inning of 52 runs, while Puneet Wattal made 32 runs and Chander chipped in 23 runs.
From SCC side, Ankush and Sandeep took one wicket each.
In reply, SCC failed to chase the target and bundled out at paltry 58 runs by losing all wickets in 15 overs.
From OCC side, Praful Dhar displayed superb bowling skills and claimed 6 wickets by giving 4 runs in his 3 overs spell, while Sunny Parihar took 1 wicket by giving 4 runs in 2 overs.
Praful Dhar of OCC was adjudged as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Rakesh and Sunny as umpires, while Faiz maintained the scorecard. Rehan Rana was Physiotherapist.
The tournament is being held under the supervision of Sagar Sadhu and Ave Kachroo.
