JAMMU, Oct 20: Defeating Rudraksh Sharma by 3-2 in the summit clash, Ritvik Gupta lifted the cadet boys title trophy, while Dr Prabhjot will lock-horns with Mahesh Khajuria in the veteran final of the ongoing 42nd Stag J&K Table Tennis Championship-2019, being organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Table Tennis Association at TT Hall, Indoor Complex, MA Stadium here.
Earlier, in the veteran men ‘s semifinals, Mahesh Khajuria beat Anil Abrol by 3-1 and Dr Prabhjot defeated Shivanshu by 3-0.
Other Results: Cadet Boys Finals; Ritvik beat Rudraksh 3-2.
Sub Jr Girls Quarterfinals: Iknoor drubbed Mishti 3-0, Vidhushi beat Hargun 3-0, Ragini got the better of Divyanshi 3-1.
Sub jr Boys Semifinals: Vishav beat Tejas 3-1, Sarthak trounced Akhilesh 3-2.
Junior boys Pre-quarterfinals: Hanumat outplayed Zaffar Ahmed 3-1, Rohan trounced Ansh 3-1, Sarthak outclassed Mahi Kailu 3-1, Maanay prevailed over Aarit 3-0 and Vishav beat Sourav by 3-0.
The matches were officiated by Vasu Dewan, Gurvinder Singh Sasan (NIS Table tennis coach), Sandeep Khadotra (NIS Table Tennis coach), Meenu Rajesh and Asad Sharma.
