JAMMU, Dec 21: Powerlif-ting competition was organized by J&K State Sports Council for Jammu district, which was inaugurated at New Indoor Hall by the Chief Sports Officer, Haji Abdul Qayoom.
Over 100 boys and girls participated in different age categories.
The Championship is being held nder the guidance of Dr. Naseem Javaid Choudhary, Secretary J&K State Sports Council and under the overall supervision of Divisional Sports Officer, Ravi Singh in the presence of Satish Gupta, Manager Indoor Sports Complex, Iqbal Singh, Football Coach, Vikas Magotra, Swimming Coach and Ajay Sharma, General Secretary, J&K State Powerlifting Association and large number of powerlifters and spectators.
The 2-day competition will conclude tomorrow.
