JAMMU, July 16: Power Grid Corporation of India organized various activities in its all offices falling under Northern Region Transmission System-II, during last fortnight.
Several programmes were organized in various schools, colleges, localities apart from site offices for creating awareness among the general masses, youth, employees and their family members, highlighting the effects cleanliness have on our lives.
The highlight of all the activities was organizing of street plays, painting competitions and tree plantation events that were organized across all establishments of the Corporation. The street plays were organized in various localities like Powergrid township, Balgran Channi Rama, etc.
During the presentation of the play at Balgran, SD Joshi, General Manager (Projects), Powergrid, was the chief guest. Later, Joshi along with other senior officers of Powergrid carried out tree plantation. Hygine kits were also distributed among the inmates of Balgran during this function.
