POONCH, July 7: In a one side match played today during the ongoing JKCA District Level Tournament, Poonch XI Club defeated Rathore Club by 344 runs.
Batting first, Poonch XI Club scored 403 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 40 overs. Nawaz made 108 runs while Perviaz Afridi scored 81 runs of 26 balls and Gurvinder scored 54 runs. For Rathore Club, Ayaz took 3 wickets.
While chasing, Rathore Club bundled out for 59 runs in 13 overs. Sheraj was the top scorer with 24 runs. For Poonch XI, Rustom, Risayat and Kamran took 3 wickets each.
Nawaz was adjudged as man of match for his match winning performance.
The match was officiated by Sachin and Rajneesh Maini while Amandeep Sharma was the scorer.
