Poonch Royals drubs Saffron Club by 4 wkts in Winter Shield T20 Cup

JAMMU, Mar 28: Poonch Royals Cricket Club registered emphatic win over Saffron Cricket Club by 4 wickets in the ongoing Winter Shield T20 Cup, being organized by SCA, J&K Sports Council under the supervision of its Secretary, Dr Naseem Choudhary at Parade Ground here.
Earleir, batting first Saffron Cricket Club scored 129 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. Ayush (32) Kishandeep (31) were the main scorers. From the bowling side, Chamkor Singh took 2 wickets while Haseeb, Sunil and Abbish claimed 1 wicket each.
In reply, Poonch Royals Cricket Club chased the target in 18.3 overs for the loss of 6 wickets, thus won the match by 4 wickets. Divyansh top scored with 42 runs, while Robert and Sachin contributed 30 and 15 runs to the total respectively.
From bowling side, Viboor Khajuria and Vimal Raina took 2 wickets each while Kishandeep and Vinay picked one wicket each. Divyansh was declared as the man of the match.
The matches were officiated by Vijay, Dayal and Ashok Singh.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Patel Cricket Club will take on MCC at 10.30 am, while Media Cricket Eleven will face Lucky Cricket Club at 1.30 pm.
