POONCH, Apr 25: Under the supervision and directions of SSP Poonch, Rajiv Pandey, DySP DAR Poonch, Mohd Rafi Giri distributed hockey sticks among the hockey players, under Civic Action Progarmme (CAP) at Sports Stadium, here today.
Speaking on the occasion, DySP DAR advised the young talented players to practice hard and bring laurels to the State and the Nation as well.
He said that sports and games apart from developing wholesome personality of the players, help in bringing communal harmony, peace and national integration, besides helping in exchanging culture.
Hockey coaches Pawan Kumar and Mukesh Kumar extended thanks to SSP Poonch and DySP DAR for this gesture and for JKP’s contribution in promoting sports culture through various Progamme of District Police Poonch.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Nidosh Kumar, In-charge Sports Stadium Poonch and Mustaq Ahmed, Boxing coach.
