JAMMU, Mar 6: Pooja, Deepika and Azra emerged winners in the Badminton event organized during week long Sports meet, which concluded today at KCS College of Education (Women).
In Volleyball event, Team A and Team B emerged winner and runner-up respectively, where as in Kho-Kho, Team E, Team B and Team G claimed first second and third positions respectively.
In Chess, Priya Kotwal and Surbhi claimed first position, whereas the second and third positions were secured by Versha and Sunnandini, Pooja and Priya Khajuria respectively.
In Table-Tennis, Priyanka, Samita and Deepika claimed first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in Tug of War, Team D, Team B and Team C emerged winners.
In Carom, Manu and Sangeeta claimed first position, Rita and Babuta secured second position and Pushpa and Manika bagged third position.
In Spoon race, Priya Khajuria, Shilpa and Damini secured first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in Musical Chair Priya Kotwal secured first position.
On the valedictory function, Principal of the college, Prof OP Sharma was the chief guest, who presented awards to the winners in presence of staff members.
The sports meet was organized by Rajan Suri, convener, Sports Committee, Sneh Khanna, Rohani Sharma and Ruchika Chib.
