Police organizes sports event

SRINAGAR, Feb 20: Under its Civic Action Program, Police organized a sports event at Kashmir Harvard Educational Institute in Habak Naseem Bagh area of Srinagar.
A Police spokesman said that hundreds of youth including students of Nigeen and adjacent areas participated enthusiastically in the sports event.
“The matches of different games like tug of war, table tennis and Wushu were played on knock-out basis. At the end of the event, the winners were suitably awarded,” he said
“The aim to organize such events is to impart and inculcate the sense of discipline, sportsmanship and camaraderie among the participants,” he added.
