Srinagar, Apr 1:Police today said they have distributed sports kits to various schools of Downtown, Srinagar under civic action programme.
A police spokesman said the beneficiary schools include Govt. Middle School Nowhatta, Govt. High School Malkhah, Govt. Middle School Dana Mazar, Govt. Middle School Sangam.
“The sports items were distributed with an objective that the students in such schools shall have greater participation in sports activities, which is indispensable for the overall personality development of the students,” the spokesman said.
