DODA, June 2: Pirates of Chittagong (POC) Bangladesh registered win over Hisar Haryana by a huge margin of 77 runs and sailed into quarterfinal of the ongoing All India 11th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship at Sports Stadium Doda.
After winning the toss, POC Bangladesh set a target of 167 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in stipulated 18 overs. Mohi-ud-Din Rubel was the highest scorer with 51 runs while Arman Ullah contributed with 40 runs.
From Hisar Haryana, Ashok, Sunil and Pradeep shared 2 wickets each.
In reply, Hisar Haryana team failed to chase the target and scored only 90 runs for the loss of all wickets in 12 overs. Atinder was the highest scorer who scored 22 runs while Sumit contributed with 20 runs for his team.
From POC Bangladesh, Mohammad Balal bowled superbly and clinched 5 wickets, while Anshuman Ghosh, Rejaul Rajiv and Rattan Das shared 1 wicket each.
Mohammad Balal of POC Bangladesh was declared as man of the match.
The match was officiated by Munish Zutshi and Sanjay Chouhan as Umpires, whereas Salinder Singh Bhaduria acted as scorer.
