KATHUA, May 3: The students and staff of PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Lakhanpur celebrated its Annual Day here today for the session 2023-24 under the guidance of the Principal, Rajesh Dwivedi. Chairman, VMC, Brigadier Tejender Choudhary, 401 Arty Brigade was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
The meticulously planned programme showcased the year’s activities to the parents and guests, followed by a ceremonial function. The event commenced with the lighting of the holy lamp by the Chief Guest, the Principal, and other dignitaries, followed by a devotional performance of ‘Saraswati Vandna’ by students.
The Principal presented an Annual Report of the school progress and achievements during the academic session 2023-24. A spectacular cultural programme enriched with rich music, costumes, dance, and Qawwali was performed by the students, mesmerizing all the guests. The Chief Guest honoured student achievers and teacher achievers of session 2023-24 with prizes and certificates of appreciation.
The Chief Guest appreciated the students’ performance and congratulated the Principal, staff, and students for the Annual Day. The programme was coordinated by Nisha Khan, PGT-English, I/C Co-Curricular Activities, and concluded by the senior-most teacher, Harpreet Singh, PGT-Computer Science, with a vote of thanks.
