JAMMU, Feb 15: Wushu Association of J&K today shortlisted 44 players for upcoming 29th Senior National Wushu Championship which is scheduled to be held at Chandigarh from February 25 to March 2.
In this regard, selection trials were held at Wushu Hall MA Stadium Jammu wherein 150 players from 12 districts participated.
The selection committee was framed by Wushu Assocoation of J&K, headed by Kuldeep Handoo as chairman of the committee, Maqsood Rather, Aijaz Hussain, Surya Bhanu Partap Singh, Nissar Ahmed and Kamal Kishore were among members of the committee.
Ashok Singh (Divisional Sports Officer Jammu) and Satish (Manager Indoor Hall) were part of the screening committee.
