SRINAGAR, Mar 5: The J&K Carrom Association selected eight players (men & women) for the participation in the 27th All India Federation Carrom Cup, scheduled to be held from March 26 to 29 at Jeevandeep Educational Institute Badalal Pura Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.
The players have been selected today at SKISC Srinagar by the selection cum screening committee of the J&K Sports Council headed by Divisional Sports Officer Kashmir Nuzhat Ara and Manager SKISC Maqsood Khan with the members of J&K Carrom Association.
Team: Furqan Nazir, Umar Rashid, Mohammad Irfan and Aasif Maqbool in the men’s team, while Anzalna Rafiq, Zainab Aijaz, Kazima Khursheed and Mehak Nabi were selected for the women’s team.
