Players’ plea to Secretary Sports Council

JAMMU, May 6: The players have urged the Secretary, J&K State Sports Council Wahid-ur-Rehman Parra to extend the date for submission of sports certificates by few days.
Some of the aggrieved players visited the EXCELSIOR office and narrated that they had gone late in the submission of their sports certificates to the competent authority.
“We visited the office of the Divisional Sports Officer at MA Stadium for submitting our sports certificates, which we have earned after playing State, National as well as International Tournaments, but we were told that the last date for the submission of the sports certificates had been over and now apply next year”, the players said.
If the Council does not extend the date for submission of the sports certificates, then we will lose one year, they said and appealed to the Secretary Sports Council to extend the date of submission of Sports Certificates of the candidates seeking recognition for including them in the list of “sports category” to be submitted by them to the concerned authorities for conducting Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) in professional colleges.
