Players continue to vie for titles in 45th J&K State Badminton C’ship

JAMMU, Dec 27: Players continued to vie for the titles in the ongoing 45th J&K State Badminton Championship, being organized by J&K Badminton Association at MA Stadium, here today.
In U-10 Boys Singles, Harsh Sharma defeated Shivansh Panotra, whereas Arav Sharma lost to Gopesh, whereas in Girls Singles, Snowy Goswani lost to Suhani Sharma.
In U-13 Boys Singles, Sidarth Jain beat Sarthak Sehdev, Pariyansh lost to Udhyan, Viabhav Mehta beat Shourya and Adity Singh lost to Bhavdeep Singh, whereas in Girls Singles, Snowy Goswani beat Shrijus and Skiedeep Kour beat Sambhavi Rajput.
In U-15 Boys Singles, Aesh Goswami beat Rakshit Mehta, Ayush beat Suraj Kumar, Dheeraj lost to Sidharth and Yashasvi got walkover against Vaibhav Mehta, whereas in Girls Singles, Unnati Jaral beat Sambhvi.
In U-17 Boys Singles, Ojas Suri lost to Dheerak Sharma, Yashdeep Singh beat Prajwal and Jatin lost to Sehdev Singh, whereas in Girls Singles, Poorvi Singh beat Manu Balloria and Unnati lost to Rashmi Kashyap.
In U-19 Boys Singles, Aesh Goswami beat Dhruv Verma, Prajwal Khajuria got walkover against Sehdev Singh and Dheeraj lost to Nakul Vaid, whereas in Girls Singles, Peehushi lost to Poorvi.
In U-13 Boys Doubles, Sarthak and Bhavdeep beat Shivansh and Parth, Hardik and Vansh lost to Anees and Jaskaran, whereas in U-15 Boys Doubles, Ayush and Dheeraj beat Udhyan and Vaibhav.
In U-17 Boys Doubles, Yashdeep and Sehdev beat Gokul and Utkarsh and Aryan and Jatin lost to Prajwal and Dheeraj, whereas in Girls Doubles, Rashmi and Pranjal beat Mannu and Skiedeep and Sambhavi and Shriju lost to Unnati and Poorvi.
In U-19 Mixed Doubles, Rashimi and Aryan beat Skiedeep and Yashdeep and Poorvi and Sehdev lost to Nakul and Unnati.
The matches were conducted under the supervision of Satpal Sharma and Vikram Saini, NIS, Coaches.
Among others present were Amir Aslam Badminton Instructor, Mohammad Irfan, Vice President JKBA, Vivek Mehta, Balbir Jamwal, Secretary General, JKBA and Sushant Sharma, Vice President, JKBA.
Earlier, the Championship was declared open by Dr Naseem Javed Choudhary, Secretary, J&K State Sports Council in presence of JKBA members and other dignitaries.
