JAMMU, Sept 4: Poonch District Taekwondo Academy (PDTA) today celebrated World Taekwondo Day with great pump and show at Poonch.
Rajinder Singh Physical Education Teacher DYSS congratulated all the masters, referees, coaches and players of Taekwondo during the function. He also praised Taekwondo player, Khalida Jabeen for representing India in ISF World School Taekwondo Poomsae Championship 2020 and congratulated for clinching Gold for Poonch district.
Later, all the players of the PDTA took pledge not to indulge in any drug related activities and assured that they would also guide others to say yes to sports and make our India a drug free nation. All the outstanding players of PDTA were felicitated on this occasion.
Others prominent who were present in the function included Shaq Husain Assistant coach PDTA, Black Belt holder, Amity Sharma and org secretary PDTA, Hassan Forzani.
