JAMMU, Apr 27: The 25th Silver Jubilee Mr. Jammu and Kashmir Bodybuilding Championship, organized by the Body Building Association of J&K in collaboration with the J&K Sports Council, concluded at the Police Auditorium, Gulshan Ground, Jammu.
Over 130 participants from across the Union Territory competed in various categories, showcasing strength, discipline, and sportsmanship. Parul Kalsi clinched the prestigious Champion of Champions title. In the men’s categories, Rishab (50-55kg), Vikram (55-60kg), Andy (60-65kg), Salman (70-75kg), Abhi (75-80kg), Gurvinder (80-85kg) and Rajinder (85-90kg) emerged as winners. Gurvinder also topped the Master Category, followed by Rajinder. In women’s physique, Shina secured first place. Salman won the Classic Bodybuilding category, followed by Mukesh, Jigmat, Andy and Koushal. In Men’s Physique, Ravi Sharma took first, with Mukesh, Harish, Salad, and Krishna rounding off the top five. Champions were awarded a cash prize of Rs 2100 each. The event was inaugurated by Arun Kumar Sharma, President of BBAJK, who praised the athletes’ dedication and performance.
