JAMMU, Dec 26: The ‘Art Arcade’ of KC Public School houses an Art Gallery exhibiting children’s art and craft creations and has three well-appointed art studios for them to work in. Art and craft exhibitions are frequently organized in the Arcade for the benefit of parents and visitors.
During a recent exhibition, Viacheslav Platonov, a technical expert from Russia working on deputation in India and a member of ‘The Friends of the Art Museum’ in the Chuvash Republic of Russia was invited over as a special guest. Greatly impressed with children’s art work on display at the Art Arcade, he has now facilitated the exhibition of 73 selected paintings done by KCPS students at the Art Gallery ‘Novocheboksarskaya Palitra’ (‘Palette of Novocheboksarsk Artists’) located within the Art Museum at Novocheboksarsk in the Chuvash Republic of Russia under the patronage of Alexander Vladimirovich Illyin, the Deputy Director of the museum.
Viacheslav Platonov adores India for her rich heritage and culture and is quite enthused about promoting friendship and collaboration between the children of the two countries through similar cultural exchanges.
