JAMMU, Nov 21: Open State Speed Ball Fest was declared open at Birla Open Mind International School at Channi Himmat, here.
This will be three day long Tournament in Which around 1200 players from 50 Schools of various districts of Jammu & Kashmir are taking part. Today Sub-Junior Players Compete With Each Other. the champions
AK Attri, retired DIG was the chief guest on the occasion, while Yaseen Kichloo, SSP 4th Bn and Dr Arvind Karwani (Dy CEO SMVDSB) was the special guest.
Earlier, the chief guest was welcomed by Ravi Tikku, President JKSSBA along with Gourav Abrol, Vice-President JKSSBA, Anil Nanda (Event Director JKSBA).
Rohini Aima (Principal JSS), Sanschita Mukherjee (Principal Bomis), Tarun Uppal (Social Activists), Rajeev Mahajan (Journalist), Abhay Basur (Director May Fair Schools), Pushpinder Charak (Youth Leader), Sonu Sharma (Director LMPS).
He was presented With a Guard of honour by the Band of May Fair School.
An impressive cultural programme and demonstration of Speed Ball was presented by the students.
During Function, Bhumika Gupta was honoured for her achievement in recently held World Championship.
May Fair School emerged as overall Champion, Jammu Sanskriti School was the runners-up and RM Public School School secured 2nd runners-up spot.
Chief Guest, AK Attri in his address lauded the efforts of the Association for holding this mega event..
The vote of thanks was presented by Abhay Basur, Director May Fair International School.
