JAMMU, Sept 30: Online UT Level Weight Lifting Competition was organized by Youth Rural Games and Sports Association, J&K in which about 50 youth from various localities of J&K participated.
On the basis of judgment by panel, about six participants got gold medals in various categories and are selected for upcoming offline National Level Weight Lifting Championship 2020.
Malkiyat Singh, Technical Member of Youth Rural Games and Sports Association J&K, officiated the competition.
Final Result for Deadlift Event: In 101 kgs category, Sourabh Kumar secured first position, while in 95 kgs, Mohammad Zabier emerged winner, in 86 kgs, Sahil Choudhary clinched first position, in 72 kgs, Bilal Ahmed bagged first position and in 55 kgs, Sajid Hussain emerged winner.
Final Result for Powerlifting Event: In 70 kgs, Vikalp Arora emerged winner.
Gurvinder Kour, General Secretary, Youth Rural Games and Sports Association conducted the event.
