JAMMU, Aug 25: GDC Vijaypur organized an Online Inter-College Essay Competition on the topic “National Education Policy (NEP) 2020-A New Lease of Hopes and Possibilities”.
Students from various Colleges and Universities of the UT participated in the competition.
The first position was shared by Radhika Sharma of GGM Science College, Anchal Singh and Rajan Malpotra of Government MAM College. The second position was shared by Diksha Raina and Shivani Singh Jasrotia from GCW Gandhi Nagar and Diksha Thakur from GDC Majalta whereas the third position was secured by Deepshikha of GDC Samba.
E-Certificates were awarded to the winners of the competition.
Dr Shittal Sharma coordinated the event. The organizing committee comprised of Prof Anil Bhagat, Dr Uday Pathania, Dr Sunil Kumar Mangoch and Sonia Bhagat.
Dr Sangeeta Sudan, Principal of the Institute hoped that this revolutionary step will pave a way for students where they can be given open and free hand to decide about their life, education, career and job.
