NSUI seeks probe in judo hall ceiling damage case

JAMMU, June 14: National Students Union of India (NSUI) has sought probe into the damage to ceiling of judo hall at MA Stadium.
Addressing a press conference, Ranjodh Singh, State Secretary, NSUI, J&K stated that due to storm on June 10, the ceiling of judo hall at MA Stadium got completely damaged, adding that the hall was fabricated only four years back which depicts that the material used for fabrication was of spurious quality.
Singh appealed to the Government and Sports Minister in particular to look into matter and constitute a committee of veterans who will probe the matter. He also sought criminal proceedings against the State Sports Council.
He warned the Sports Minister that if ceiling of judo hall has not been constructed on war footing, NSUI will come on roads.
Among others present were Jagandeep Singh, Tarandeep Singh, Sukhdev Singh and Rahul Sharma.
