NLA Mirpur celebrates 5th Annual Day

Doda, Sept 23: New Light Academy Mirpur, Chiralla, Doda celebrated Fifth Annual Day with great pomp and show in which more than 100 students took part with great enthusiasm.
Variety of cultural items and attractive skits were presented by the students which enthralled the audience.
The programme was chaired by Shamim Ahmed, the acting Principal of Govt HSS Chiralla, while sarpanch Bajja Master (Retd.) Fazal Alam Wani presided over the function. Sarpanch Sunarthawa /Chiralla , Rakesh Charak was the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Sarpanch Master Fazal Alam Wani said that students of these remote areas possess enormous hidden talent and it needs to be chanelised.
Chief guest, Shamim Ahmed also stressed upon teachers to impart quality education to the students of these far flung areas . Sarpanch, Rakesh Charak also addressed the gathering. The students performing well in academic side as well as in co-curricular activities were suitably rewarded and encouraged by the dignitaries. The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Principal of Academy Ikhlaq Hussain.
