Nightingale Pre-School celebrates Annual Day ‘Tare Zameen Par’

Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, Mar 13: Nightingale Pre-School celebrated its Annual Day Function with theme ‘Tare Zameen Par’ with pomp and show, here today. The young kids of the School displayed their abundant talent during the day and impressed one and all. The Function started with Ganesh Vandana and lighting of the ceremonial lamp by chief guest, Danish Rana, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Jammu, while Dr Kiran Bakshi, Principal Govt College for Women, Gandhi Nagar and Parneesh Mahajan, Chairman NSM Group of Schools and Colleges were the guests of honour. Principal of the school, Sonia Jain presented the Annual Report while students of UKG and other classes presented different items on various facets of life which included skits, poems, songs, and dance items, gags etc which got appreciation from all the parents. Some artistic items were also presented by the little kids with great energy and zest enthralling the soul and mind of those gathered to witness the show. Certificates and mementoes were also given to students for various achievements throughout the year. The chief guest in his address praised the School for giving such a magnificent stage exposure to all kids and grooming young talent and encouraged the staff with his words. Rana asked the teachers to inculcate reading habits among young kids which will go a long way to nurture them for a bright future. Dr Bakshi and Mr Mahajan also lauded the role of the Nightingale Pre-School for nurturing young talent. Prominent among those who graced the occasion included Priya Sethi, former Minister of State, Yudhvir Sethi, State Vice President BJP, besides other BJP leaders including Neelam Jain, Baldev Singh Bloria, Vineey Gupta, Anju Balgotra and Anil Masoom. The vote of thanks was presented by Priyanka Kapoor Vohra, Co-ordinator of the School. Kusum Tickoo conducted the proceedings of the programme.
