KATHUA, Dec 20: The New Millenium Public High School,Nagri- Parole,Kathua today celebrated its annual day in the school premises.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan, Chief Executive Officer,Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority was the chief guest on the occasion, while as Kushal Sharma, Director of the School presided over the function. The function started with the Saraswati and Ganesh Vandana. The students of the School thereafter presented a variety of cultural programme depicting the pluristic social fabric and ethoes of our country.
The presentation on National Intergeration- “Mera Rang De Basanti Chola” by the students and themetic presentation on Climate change Deforestation, Environment presentation and hazards of excusive mobile use  drew continuous  applause from the audience.
The chief guest in his speech appreciated the progress achived by the School in terms of infrastructure development and  student enrolment. He while appreciating the role of teachers exhorted them to inculcate moral & ethical values in the children who are our future citizens. He added that students be made aware of the ecological issues as well as  and  on the menace of drugs abuse.
Snehal Khajuria, Principal of the School in her address spoke about the achievement of the School in academics. She underlined the motto of School aimed at imparting quality education to the students.
Dr Bharat Bhushan distributed prizes and momentoes among the students who have excelled in academics.
