JAMMU, Feb 28: New Era Environmental High School celebrated its Annual Day cum Prize Distribution Function with zeal and zest, here.
ID Soni, State Commissioner Bharat Scouts and Guides and former Deputy Director Education was the chief guest on the occasion.
Earlier, Maitree Jain presented welcome address.
The programme began with the tributes paid to the martyrs.
The students presented a gala of colourful items.
The array of presentations included a beautiful ‘Jai ho Jai ho Shankara’ by 9th class students, followed by an action song on fruits and vegetables by students of class nursery. ‘Swarg main hartal’, a skit by class 3rd students depicting the scenario of planet earth as seen by our Gods was highly appreciated by the audience.
The prizes were given to the students for excelling in academic as well as co-curricular activities.
Also the teachers were awarded for excellent board results.
In the end, Prabha Jain presented vote of thanks.
