JAMMU, Mar 7: Nav Yug Higher Secondary School organised Annual Sports Day 2024 with great zeal and enthusiasm in the school premises here today.
The school playground was overflowing with zeal, passion and excitement. About 150 students from class 5th, 6th and 7th participated in various sports activities during the day.
Various types of field events like banana race, lemon spoon race, balloon simple race along with Musical chair and tug of war etc added to the excitement and thrill. The prizes were distributed among the students for their excellent performance in various events by the Principal Preetika Jamwal.
She laid emphasis on the value of games and sports in daily life and urged the students to participate in games. MD of the school Chander Kanta appreciated the winners.
