SAMBA, Feb1: MY Bharat, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, in collaboration with the Nations Development Association (NDA) organized a District-Level National Voter’s Day Padyatra at the Auditorium of Shri Sankruti, The Shri Ram Universal School, Samba. The event was held on the theme “MY Bharat, MY Vote” with the objective of motivating youth and first-time voters to actively engage in the democratic process.
Rafiq Ahmad Jaral, Assistant Commissioner Development, Samba, graced the occasion as chief guest, while the programme was presided over by Sushil Singh Charak, Chief Functionary, NDA. Sanjeev Gupta, Chairman, The Shri Ram Universal School, Jammu, highlighted the importance of voting as a constitutional duty.
Present on the occasion were Rajni Gupta, Sonika Mahajan, Shivani Vaid Sharma, Shubham Singh Manhas, Happy Sharma, Aakash Singh Charak, Amit Singh Bagal, along with other dignitaries and MY Bharat volunteers. The programme concluded with a collective pledge to strengthen democracy through maximum youth participation.
